Often uses decide that only their email traffic needs protection. Using the Filter setting in iPig, you can tell iPig to encrypt only all email sent/received but not your web browsing.


If you want to encrypt only email, please select:

(1) Encrypt only the following

(2) Add the ports for email to the filter list (see screenshot). Instead of using the predefined PORT variables you can also enter the numberic values directly, e. g. 25 for the SMTP port.

Of course, you can exclude or include any other Internet application:

To encrypt (only) your MSN Messenger conversation, you can add port 1183. Or to encrypt your FTP file transfer, you can add port 21.
