New: If you are a web developer and iMacros user, you will be interested in this:

AlertFox offers free web transaction monitoring - powered by iMacros for Firefox!

You can directly re-use your iMacros macros as web transaction monitoring scripts on AlertFox. Just create an iMacros sensor on AlertFox and copy & paste your macro into the box.
Classic uptime monitoring such as HTTP with keyword validation, DNS or FTP sensors are available, too, but it is the iMacros powered transaction monitoring that makes AlertFox a unique service.

We highly recommend AlertFox and we use it ourselves (View our public performance chart).

iMacros for Firefox - Upgrade completed

Useful iMacros Resources:

Please don't forget to rate iMacros at Firefox Add-ons :-)

Did you know? iMacros is available for Google Chrome, too! For more information please see the iMacros for Chrome home page and the wiki. In a nutshell, iMacros for Chrome works fine for basic tasks, but is not as powerful as iMacros for Firefox yet. This is mostly due to limitations of the Chrome extensions API. But for supported commands, Firefox macros run directly in Chrome and vice versa!

Q: I'm using the iMacros Firefox Addon to record scripts and I'm trying to understand what will be the benefits for buying the paid iMacros Scripting Edition?

A: iMacros for Firefox is free. And here's why: We hope you'll enjoy iMacros so much that you'll consider upgrading to the iMacros Scripting Edition that includes

  1. Free, unlimited tech support with guaranteed response times
  2. Support for automating Flash, Silverlight and Java applets
  3. Image Recognition
  4. AJAX Drag & Drop, AJAX Sliders support via DirectScreen Technology
  5. A Scripting Interface that lets you control IE and Firefox from any Windows programming or scripting language.
  6. The iMacros Scripting Edition is available as free 30-day trial for Windows (Mac and Linux support is planned).

Last but not least, read what our Scripting Edition users have to say.
